Associate Membership
- Associate members are trainee lawyers.

Honorary membership
- The General Assembly, based on a proposal from the Council, may grant honorary membership to people of stature and opinion who have rendered distinguished services to the profession or to the Association, or who have a distinguished activity in the field of legal work. .

Active membership
- To be of Omani nationality. .
- To have a university degree in Sharia, Law, or its equivalent from a recognized university, college, or higher institute.
- He must not have been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor involving moral turpitude or dishonesty, unless he has been rehabilitated.
- To have a good reputation and conduct.
- To be registered in the lawyers' register at the Ministry of Justice.
- To have a sincere desire to work in service of the association and to achieve its goals. .
- The council should issue a decision granting him membership. .
Members' rights and duties

Associate Member Rights
- All the rights enjoyed by a working member except for the right to nominate or elect a member of the council.

Rights of a working member
- The right to attend general assembly meetings. .
- The right to nominate and elect a member of the council, after at least six months have passed since the date of joining the association.
- The right to vote in general assembly meetings. .
- The right to participate in the association's activities. .
- The right to enjoy material assistance, cultural and social services, and any other services provided by the association.

Member duties
- Working towards achieving the association's goals. .
- Contributing to and supporting all the association's activities within the limits of his abilities and capabilities. .
- To adhere to integrity, good conduct and behavior. .
- He must not insult or attempt to insult the association in any way. .
- Compliance with the regulations and decisions issued by the General Assembly and the Council. .
- Payment of annual subscriptions as determined by the council, on time. .
- Observing the principles of the profession, adhering to its traditions, and defending them. .
Application requirements
The membership application is submitted to the Secretary on the designated form, which must include all the personal and basic data of the membership applicant and be accompanied by the following:
- A copy of your passport or personal ID card. .
- Two passport photos. .
- Subscription payment receipt. .
- A copy of the license to practice law. .
- Any other supporting documents as determined by the council. .
- He is registered in the members' register and recorded with serial numbers, and a membership card is issued to him immediately upon payment of the subscription and administrative fees.
- Membership in the association begins from the date the member pays his first subscription fee. .
Discharge of membership
Membership status is lost in the following cases:
- Death. .
- the chapter .
- Failure to pay subscriptions on time for three months.
- Loss of one of the membership requirements. .
- Withdrawal from membership. .
- The Board of Directors issues a decision to terminate membership, and the Secretary shall notify the concerned parties of the Board's decision by any means he deems appropriate within (15) days from the date of issuance of the decision.
- A member whose membership was cancelled or removed due to non-payment of subscriptions may be re-registered, provided that he is registered in the members' register with a new registration and new membership. .
- A member, during the term of his membership or after its termination for any reason, may not recover the subscriptions or cash or in-kind donations he has paid to the association, and he has no right to its funds.
